Mod Weekender
Date:  22 April 2010

Can anyone help!!!

We are a group of drivers that work for stagecoach

we are also the people behind the running of a charity mod weekender which
will take place in Liverpool next May 2011.
The mod weekender will be made up of three things, first will be a ride-out
into Liverpool city centre by all the local scooter clubs.
This ride-out will be called the 96+ ride-out with all the money being raised
from this part of the event going to the Hillsborough Disaster Charity, for the
families who lost loved ones on that day and to help with their fight for justice.
The second part of the event will be the charity screening of Quadrophenia
this will take place in the odeon cinema in Liverpool one over that weekend.
The odeon have their own charity so all the money made from the showing
of this iconic film will go to another good cause.
The third and final part of the event will be held in Liverpool's Cavern Club and
it is this that we are seeking help with .
If we can sell all 350 tickets for the
weekend of events to be held there we would have around £4750, after the
Cavern take out their 20% and V.A.T we are left with around £3000.
With £3000 we need to book around 10 bands and a few DJs to cover us
for the two days as you can see at best that is a little tight.
We have asked the Cavern to wave their 20% and V.A.T because the whole
event is done on a none profit basis and for a number of charities.

What we need is more money being put into
it to help us put on a top event for our people.
Any money we can then make on both nights from the people in the Cavern
will go to a charity that will be chosen by the company who put the extra
cash into our event, also that company will have their name on all flyers and
on all the Modrophonic event web sites and will be classed as partners in
our project.

if you wish to help us out with our shortfall, your money will be well spent also
you will be giving to a good cause, along with the ride-out for the 96 and the
screening of Quadrophenia we feel our event we help lots of people whilst
giving our city a great weekender to look forward to at the same time.

Thank you for your time
